FMCSA Announces Phased Changes to PRISM Program

As announced in the Federal Register on August 9, 2010 (75 FR 47883) and August 31, 2011 (76 FR 54288), FMCSA will implement a procedural change to the Performance and Registration Information Systems Management (PRISM) program that eliminates the Vehicle Registrant Only (Registrant) designation. The agency previously announced that this change would take place on September 1, 2012. However, the change will now be phased in to give those affected sufficient time to comply. FMCSA will publish the new implementation timeline in the Federal Register in the coming days.
