John C. Bell, Deputy Assistant Chief Counsel for Field Operations, has been a trial attorney at FMCSA's Eastern Service Center since June 2007. He is a graduate of Frostburg State University (BS, 1995) and the University of Baltimore School of Law (JD, 1996). Immediately prior to joining FMCSA, John was an Assistant Attorney General in the Maryland Office of the Attorney General and Deputy Counsel to the Maryland Department of General Services. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Attorney General in Maryland representing the Maryland Department of Transportation. John is a member of the Maryland bar and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Anthony (Tony) Lardieri has been a trial attorney at FMCSA's Eastern Service Center since January 2002. He is a graduate of Loyola University Maryland (BA, 1990) and the University of Baltimore School of Law (JD, 1993). A former judicial law clerk to the Honorable John J. Bishop, Court of Special Appeals of Maryland, Tony practiced law in the private sector for nine years prior to entering government service. Immediately prior to joining FMCSA, Tony was a senior associate at the Baltimore law firm Semmes, Bowen & Semmes where he practiced insurance defense and commercial litigation. Tony is a member of the Maryland bar and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. He lives in Maryland with his wife and two daughters.

Deborah Stanziano is a trial attorney for FMCSA's Southern Service Center. Deborah received her undergraduate degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, her graduate degree from Georgia State University, and her J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law. Prior to joining FMCSA, Deborah served as a litigation attorney for two Atlanta law firms. She also was a sole practitioner and served as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Matthew J. Hardy has been a trial attorney for FMCSA's Southern Service Center since March, 2009. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia (BBA cum laude, 1997) and the University of Georgia School of Law (JD, 2000). Matthew practiced law in the private sector for four years, specializing in civil litigation, before entering government service with the State of Georgia. For the State of Georgia, Matthew practiced administrative law before the Georgia Public Service Commission. Immediately prior to joining FMCSA, Matthew was the Director of Georgia's Consumers' Utility Counsel, a department of Georgia's Office of Consumer Affairs, where he represented Georgia consumers as a class in energy and transportation matters before the Georgia Public Service Commission and State and Federal courts. Matthew is a member in good standing of the Georgia bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Georgia's Courts of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia.

Jedd Miloud is a Trial Attorney in the Western Service Center located in Lakewood, Colorado. Jedd's primary duty is to litigate enforcement cases in the West. Jedd received his BBA from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He received his JD (cum laude) from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to joining the U.S. Department of Transportation, Jedd worked for a private law firm focused on civil litigation. Prior to the firm, he was an Active Duty attorney in the U.S. Air Force. Currently, Jedd is a reserve attorney in the Texas Air National Guard.
